Project Overview
Working as a subcontractor to Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering & Construction, Al Eid Engineering delivered specialised lifting equipment for the Ministry of Health's New Al-Sabah Hospital.
The scope included a 5-ton electric overhead travelling crane for the hospital's central engineering workshop and monorail hoist systems for equipment handling in technical areas. Runway beams and monorails were installed and aligned to building structure with the precision needed for smooth, quiet operation in a healthcare environment.
Hospital construction demanded cleanliness protocols, noise control and safety measures beyond typical industrial installations. Work was scheduled around adjacent construction activities, all equipment met healthcare facility standards, and systems were commissioned without incident ahead of the hospital's planned opening.
