Project Overview
Al Eid Engineering supplied material handling equipment for one of Kuwait's most ambitious infrastructure projects — the 48.5 km Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway across Kuwait Bay.
Supplying Energy Solutions, a key subcontractor on the mega-project, our scope covered monorail hoist systems for the causeway's maintenance facilities and technical areas — including the Verlinde 3-ton units pictured through assembly, installation and witnessed load testing.
The marine environment demanded enhanced corrosion protection, weather-resistant electrical components and careful delivery logistics across causeway construction sites. All systems were delivered to project schedule and installed in facilities that now support the causeway's long-term operations.
